WHO WE ARE
Bastion School is a private Christian purpose-built school dedicated to birthing and raising great generational giants that will take the world by storm. Our pupils, who come from all religious and ethnic backgrounds are offered an exciting and unique educational experience. Our school is based wholly on the Nigerian Curriculum, English National Curriculum, and Montessori Education which provides a solid and well-tested foundation, ensuring that formal standards are achieved at the highest level and will encourage inquiry, awareness, empathy and engagement with the wider world.
OUR HISTORY
The vision was conceived January 1st 2018. Bastion School was dedicated and commenced teaching on 11th February 2018 with two children in attendance, covering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) of the English National Curriculum (i.e. ages 3months to 5 years). During the next year precisely on 16th September, 2019, the school moved to a new location in the heart of the city, Port Harcourt and housed Key Stages 1, & 2 (i.e age 6-10years).

by providing education that is of the highest standard and addresses every pupil’s individual needs.
MISSION
Birthing and raising great generational giant through a safe and learning environment with quality education which exposes the child to real life experience beginning from their cradle stage.
Our philosophy is focused on protecting children of this generation from failed quality education through Child-centred learning, which puts children at the centre of the learning process. The child-centred approach also acknowledges the fact that not every child learns in the same way: some children learn through listening, some through reading and others by doing. Our school offers differentiated programmes of work to cater for different levels of ability.Finally, child-centred teaching provides the children with the social skills and self-knowledge they need in order to become whole, happy and successful human beings.
